On a glorious spring Saturday morning—the first one in a while, weather-wise in Grand Rapids—the Calvin Spring Classic and Karen Muyskens Family Fun Run drew more than 1,600 runners and walkers.
An army of volunteers made the event go smoothly and numerous corporate sponsors, led by lead benefactor Aspen Investment Management, made certain the day would be beneficial to Calvin students, too, as proceeds added to the Grand Rapids and Lakeshore Network Scholarship funds.
