The Maroon & Gold Gala at the McKay Ballroom in downtown Grand Rapids featured award presentations to Calvin’s 2018–19 alumni award winners.

Jacqueline Klamer ’08 from Partners Worldwide received the Young Alumni Award, and Carol Rottman ex’59 received the Outstanding Service Award. The alumni association’s highest honor, the Distinguished Alumni Award, went to Jeni Plooy Hoekstra ’57 and Dr. Dennis Hoekstra ’58 and Dr. K.A. Tony Namkung ’67.

Profiles of the award winners are included in this issue of Spark. The evening also included great food, music, socializing, and bidding on silent auction items to raise money for financial aid.
