Rachel Held Evans is a Christian feminist writer and speaker well known for her blog. Her second book, "A Year of Biblical Womanhood: How a Liberated Woman Found Herself Sitting on Her Roof, Covering Her Head, and Calling Her Husband Master" (released in October 2012) documents a year-long experiment in which Rachel attempted to follow all of the Bible’s instructions for women as literally as possible. The results were stereotype-defying, faith-enhancing, and at times, hilarious! Rachel is also the author of, "Evolving in Monkey Town: How a Girl Who Knew All the Answers Learned to Ask the Questions" which explores the challenges of asking tough questions about Christianity in the Bible Belt.
