Event information

Head to the zoo for a picnic lunch (served from noon until 1:30 p.m.) and to explore all the new things the zoo has to offer.

We'll meet at the Grove picnic area (just south of the park entrance). See the map. Bob Crow, director of commuter student life and assessment, will be our special guest.

After lunch, venture out on your own. The zoo has much to see and do: Van Andel Living Shores Aquarium, tigers, bears, a petting zoo and pygmy goat corral.  Find out more about the zoo online. The zoo is open until 6 p.m.

Note: Zoo admission tickets will be available for pick up at the picnic. Please plan on checking in at the picnic prior to zoo admission.
