When we think of sex-trafficking, we usually assume it's in other countries, not here. However, there is also a large and growing problem in the U.S., in Michigan and right here in Grand Rapids. Mary Dekker and Anthony Bender, local volunteers with the faith-based non-profit Project Liberty, will speak about the issues involved, and the efforts of the Project Liberty task force to rescue victims of trafficking locally, and seek ways to stop the demand.
