"Discovering Agriculture's Secret Stash in the Wilds of Idaho's Rockies"
Guest Speaker: Glenn Elzinga — Alderspring Ranch (May, Idaho)
Friday, Dec. 3rd, 2021
1:30p - 2:20p
*CFAC Recital Hall
In this talk, Calvin alumnus Glenn Elzinga tells the story of how after nearly 30 years, he and his wife, Caryl, discovered 'paydirt' on their 46,000 acre cattle ranch in central Idaho's Rocky Mountains. He'll convey the fascinating story of how bovine-eating wolves played a part in getting them there, and will offer a refreshing contrast to the often doom-saying world of agriculture—that there is hope, and it can be profitable, and best of all, it can be fun.
