In this seminar, Kaugman will discuss the pathophysiology and current treatment options available for managing Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. She will also review some of the unique challenges that arise in caring for this patient population, the need for a multi-disciplinary approach to care, and the importance of shared-decision making.
