- GR Chamber of Commerce
Health care is a large and growing industry, and it encompasses some of this region's largest employers.
West Michigan's liberal arts colleges and universities, in partnership with the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, are offering a unique event to expose students to career opportunities in health care beyond working directly with patients.
The event will include a TED-style talk by Chris Cook, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Priority Health, as well as a panel of alumni from Aquinas, Calvin, Cornerstone and Hope working in non-patient-care health careers.
The event will conclude with several hands-on employer booths that students can explore.
Register on Handshake. Attendance is limited.
