The Department of Geology, Geography and Environmental Studies invites you to a seminar on “God’s Wonder-Full World: Meteors and Meteorites”. Presenter Dr. Clarence Menninga is Professor of Geology Emeritus, Calvin College.
Brief Summary: The objects known as “meteors” are native members of the solar system family, but most of the time we earthlings don’t take note of our meetings with them. Frankly, most of those meetings are unremarkable, but occasionally they make quite an impression. Let me introduce you to a few of Earth’s relatives. (Or are they merely neighbors?)
