The Meeter Center welcomes Dr. Hyun-Ah Kim, our 2019 Meeter Family Fellowship recipient, who will be in residence here through the end of July. Dr. Kim is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Theological University of Kampen, in the Netherlands, where she focuses on Reformation musical history and theology. She is also a Research Fellow at Europäische Melanchthon-Akademie Bretten, in Germany.
We also welcome Dr. Eric MacPhail, Professor of French and Italian at Indiana University-Bloomington, as our Friends of the Meeter Center Fellowship recipient for 2019. Dr. MacPhail will also be here for the month of July, during which time he will conduct research for his upcoming book, _Atheist’s Progress: Religious Tolerance from Renaissance to Enlightenment_ (Routledge, forthcoming).
Dr. MacPhail and Dr. Kim will give short presentations about their work on July 23rd beginning at 2:30 pm in the Meeter Center, on the fourth floor of Hekman Library. Refreshments will be served, and we hope that you will join us! We are most grateful for the generous support of the Meeter family, and for donations to our Friends of the Meeter Center fund, which allow us to offer these fellowships.
