The Calvin Wind Ensemble concludes its 2016-17 concert season on Saturday, May 6 at 8:00pm in the Covenant Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The program, themed “City Slickers and Country Bumpkins,” will include works that represent various aspects of rural and urban life. Highlights include Urban Requiem by Michael Colgrass (which features a student saxophone quartet) as well as Mason Bates’ Rusty Air in Carolina (which incorporates electronic sounds). Come enjoy a varied program and celebrate a wonderful year of music-making by talented students.
TICKETS: Admission is free; tickets are not required.
