How do we act boldly to safeguard life on this planet for all creatures? Keith Winn addresses where we have been in order to give direction for next steps toward a sustainable future.
The warnings scientists have made about our planets changing climate are materializing. The definitions of stewardship for this place we call earth continue to change and the responsibilities to do something, anything seems overwhelming.
Perhaps where we have been can help provide the insight, encouragement and inspiration to inform where we need to go and the courage to act boldly. We are squarely in the middle of the greatest energy transition in history. The only question now is when the new era will be fully upon us and how we can all play a role.
Keith Winn is the President of Catalyst Partners, a multi-dimensional consortium of knowledge leaders committed to high performance and restorative design and operations protocols for the places we live and work. He has been an active leader in the evolution of sustainable methodologies used to assess, develop and measure both buildings and products. As a founding member of the U. S. Green Building Council, he participated in the development of the Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.
Keynote lecture will be from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm in the Gezon Auditorium and the Student Poster Session will follow the lecture in the Gezon Upper Lobby from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm.
