Drawing from a graffiti aesthetic, the confident and imaginative rearrangement of parts found in Hip Hop music, and color schemes from his childhood in Colombia and East Africa, Teunis Verwijs presents a senior BFA exhibition of painting and sculpture built up using whimsical layering and mark making.
