The William Spoelhof Society is in the midst of its second season of The Society Series. Building off a wonderful first year, we are excited for you to join us for our 2019–2020 events.
As a valued member of the William Spoelhof Society, we invite you to join us for an exciting opportunity to spend time outdoors at the Pierce Cedar Creek Institute near Hastings, Michigan. We will begin the morning with a small reception then welcome our host for the day, Bill Sweetman, a fellow WSS member and birding enthusiast. Bill will help us understand the complexity of birds, fauna, and features of this preserve before we set off to explore it for ourselves. There will be time to bird watch, take pictures, explore the trails, or socialize on the deck overlooking the preserve. Guests of all abilities will surely enjoy the many offerings of the institute. Before we leave for the day, we will have some time to share our sights and experiences with the rest of the group.
As a bonus, we are chartering a bus that will leave the Prince Conference Center at 8 a.m. and will return at 1 p.m. if you would prefer not to drive. You are also welcome to meet us there. Space is limited on the bus so please choose that option when you register.
