The Calvin College Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Tiffany Engle, will present a concert on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Covenant Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Calvin Symphonic Band "goes green" in this program, featuring pieces that have "re-formed" elements. Highlights are band standards such Bennett's popular Suite of Old American Dances and Dello Joio's Scenes from "The Louvre," while also featuring some pieces by hot contemporary composers like Eric Whitacre and Michael Markowski.
Admission is free; tickets are not required.
