9th Annual Mad Farmers Food Fest
The Mad Farmer Food Fest is a festival to explore and celebrate the connections between food, faith, justice, stewardship, and community. Calvin students, as well as faculty, staff, and Grand Rapids community members are coming together to engage in conversation about food. The festival consists of a lunch provided by Marie Catrib’s, cookies and fresh-squeezed juice from Fresh Thyme, a keynote address, live music, and interactive workshops on a variety of food and sustainability topics; including Dumpster Diving, Roasting your own Coffee, Ethical Hunting and much more! Come receive some ideas and skills on how to live justly and sustainably.
Mad Farmer Food Fest will be held Saturday May 7th 10:00am-2:00pm at KE apartments. Lunch at 12:45pm. Lunch tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. You may attend workshops for free.
