Calvin's annual Siblings Weekend--for siblings, cousins, young friends, and other future Knights!
Siblings Weekend is a tradition at Calvin University where current students welcome siblings (college-aged or younger) or those whom they "love like a sibling" (e.g. cousins, etc.) to participate in a weekend of laughter, activities, friendship and the creation of great memories.
Of course, siblings can visit anytime, but Siblings Weekend is geared for school-aged guests and features a number of special events and activities!
Registration
Online registration will be open on December 19, 2023 and will end at Midnight on January 31, 2024.
Register online to receive a personalized Siblings Weekend ID card and free access to any/all of the Siblings Weekend events planned for $12 per person. In addition, a special meal plan can be purchased (optionally) for $16, covering Friday supper through Saturday supper (inclusive of all meal periods). (Calvin students with Block meal plans may use their existing blocks to pay for a sibling if they choose, at no cost).
[Late Registration: We will have late/onsite registration available in the Student Life Office on Thursday, Feb. 1 – Friday, Feb. 2 for an increased rate of $15 per person (and no meal plan will be available--guests can pay at the door for any meals or use blocks from their host, if applicable). Your registration fee covers most Siblings Weekend activity options, including on-campus movies, scavenger hunt, karaoke, tie-dye, open swim and gym options, hockey and basketball game admission, climbing wall*, etc. Bowling and the Climbing Wall will have sign-up links in the confirmation email, so students can make reservations, and Bowling will also require a small fee ($5 per person for an hour, which includes shoe rental).
Note about Bowling and Climbing Wall:
Due to limited slots available, pre-event sign-up will be available through Eventbrite or Sign-up Genius links, sent in the confirmation email. Bowling is open to all ages (but with a separate fee). Climbers must be 8 or older, and a Safety Waiver signed by Parent/Guardian is required for climbers under 18.
Housing
Siblings 12 and under are welcome to stay in their Calvin host's room on campus regardless of gender, while older guests should have arrangements to stay in a same gender room (e.g. which might be with their host, or with a friend of their host, accordingly). Guests are subject to the same behavioral expectations as Calvin students, but optional curfews will be the responsibility of the Calvin student host.
Events
There is plenty to do and see on campus this weekend. Programs will be available at check in on Friday.

Siblings Weekend online registration requires a credit card as a form of payment. American Express, Visa, Master Card, and Discover Card.
Refund Policy
Except for extenuating emergency situations, registration fees are only refundable up to 7 days prior to the event. If you have any questions, please call the Student Life Office at (616) 526-6948.
Confirmation
Upon completing the online registration process you will be directed to a confirmation invoice. A link to this invoice will also be sent to your email address upon completion of your registration. If you have any questions about your registration, please have this invoice available so we are able to serve you better.
