The Henry Institute's biennial Symposium on Religion and Public Life provides opportunities to present current research, to foster personal and professional networks and collaboration, and to learn about opportunities for scholarship and professional development across the disciplines.
The Paul B. Henry Institute will hold its eleventh biennial Symposium on Religion and Public Life from April 7-9, 2022, at the Prince Conference Center on the campus of Calvin University. The Symposium provides opportunities to present research, foster personal and professional collaboration, and learn from thoughtful practitioners. Attendance at the event is open to anyone interested in the intersection of religion and public life.
The Symposium will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Paul B. Henry Institute for the Study of Religion and Politics with several sessions and special guests commemorating the work done by Paul Henry and the initiatives and efforts that have spanned the Institute’s existence. The 2022 annual Henry Lecture, featuring Nicholas Wolterstorff will be on Thursday evening. The annual Kuyper Lecture, sponsored by the Center for Public Justice will be on Friday evening, featuring Diane Whitmore Schanzenbach. Both lectures and subsequent receptions are free and open to the public.
The Henry Symposium is being held in conjunction with the Kuyper Conference, which is scheduled for April 5-7. Both the symposium and the conference will take place at the Prince Conference Center. Discounted registration is available for individuals who attend both events.
