On Wednesday, May 8, the Calvin Symphonic Band wraps up its concert season with a program featuring pieces depicting various European countries. Selected works include Francois-Joseph Gossec’s Military Symphony in F (France), Carol Barnett’s Cyprian Suite (Cyprus), Gioachino Rossini’s Tancredi Overture (Italy), and Jan Van der Roost’s Puszta (Hungary). Come enjoy a delightful evening of music-making full of “Old World Charm.” The concert begins at 7:30pm in the CFAC Auditorium. Admission is free.
