Join Sharon Traeger ’73, San Francisco tour guide, as she leads Calvin Alumni and friends on a walking tour of San Francisco’s earliest city.
Our tour will take us from the Financial District to the Waterfront, and along Market Street toward Union Square. We will have the opportunity to learn about events that shaped the city and visit the historic murals of Rincon Center. We will also note some of the architecturally significant buildings in this area. Our walk takes us about 3 miles on flat, paved surfaces.
UPDATE (4/12): There are many events going on downtown on this date and the tour route may need to be adjusted accordingly. Please allow for plenty of travel/parking time and note the earlier start time—9:30 a.m.
All ages are invited, and strollers are welcome, so bring your family or a friend. We look forward to seeing you!
