- Dice Mineral Museum
With over 300 types of unique mineral specimens from around the world, the Dice Mineralogical Museum is the best rock collection in West Michigan! (in our opinion, at least).
Do you know what an 100 MILLION year old fossil of an octopus looks like? How about a 6.8-ounce gold nugget? What about fluorescent rocks? No? Well now is your chance! Take a turn around the Dice Mineralogical Museum, participate in one of the various age-appropriate scavenger hunts, and look at rocks close up at the Touch Table. Let your geological world expand.
Two special exhibits for fall 2022:
Featuring Fluorescence: examine minerals with UV flashlights to find unexpected sparkles and glows
Michigan Minerals: treasures from the Mitten State
Check out the Bruce Dice Mineralogical Museum on Instagram for more about this unique collection.
Location:
The Dice Museum is on the main-floor level of North Hall. Enter North Hall on the east side (the side facing the residence halls).
