- 5:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Lake Drive Greenhouse, 3770 Lake Dr SE, Grand Rapids
Gather with good people transplanting native plant sprouts for rain gardens and other green infrastructure projects. Get to know the greenhouse and help us produce the thousands of plants needed to help restore health and beauty to the Plaster Creek Watershed.
You are invited come out to the greenhouse at 3770 Lake Drive for another Transplanting Party Tuesday, August 8, from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Your transplants will continue to grow through the summer and get installed this fall or next spring in a variety of green infrastructure projects throughout the Grand Rapids area, mostly in the Plaster Creek watershed. They do the heavy lifting of stormwater filtering, while also providing habitat (food, clean water, shelter) for pollinators and birds. Please, join us at some point through the summer to get a hands-on look at these super stars! This is a family friendly event (we even have a snack if that helps).
