One of the first signs of spring are leafy green new leaves. Ever wonder from where leaves emerge?
Discover the answer to this question, as we examine tree twigs up close in a hands on way. Then head to the trails, as we put our skills to use searching for our mystery twigs and identifying trees in the winter. Marvel at the diversity found amongst tree species and learn how to force tree buds to unfurl their leaves early. A fun tree art project will be offered at the end of the program.
This program is great for adults with an adventurous spirit and families with children ages 6-12. Dress for the weather and walking the trails. No registration required.
