Lisa Sharon Harper, Chief Church Engagement Officer for Sojourners, lays the foundations for the biblical concept of shalom in Genesis 1-3 and mines its implications on public policy and human flourishing. Examining God’s governance of the people of Israel and Jesus’ declaration in Luke 4, Harper gleans core principles of just economic policy.
