Tim Mroz, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives with the Right Place, Inc., lectures on West Michigan's economic future.
After nearly a decade of record economic growth and low unemployment, Grand Rapids and West Michigan have become and economic powerhouse in the Midwest. However, as the region continues to grow, our community will need to react and adapt to meet the unique challenges of this growth. From regional collaboration and economic equity, to infrastructure, global trade, and workforce challenges, our community will face both potholes and possibilities on the economic horizon. This lecture will provide insights into several of these “potholes and possibilities” facing West Michigan’s economic future.
Tim Mroz is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for The Right Place. In his current role, he is responsible for leading long-term, regional economic growth initiatives in the 13-county area. His areas of focus include: infrastructure, regional collaboration, real estate/development, agribusiness, and special projects.
