Alumni Law Professional and Student Reception and Networking

The Calvin Law Professionals of Michigan (CLPM) invite you to our next gathering, a partnership with the pre-law program at Calvin. Monday, October 10 is Pre-Law Visit Day for prospective students. Many of our members will be meeting with students and leading workshops. We invite you to join us for a reception to meet the students and network with fellow legal professionals.

6:00–7:30 p.m. Remand documentary

This documentary film is about the power of an idea—a simple suggestion made by two Pepperdine law students that led to deep and systemic changes in the Ugandan criminal justice system and benefited thousands of people. Pepperdine professor of law Jim Gash will be on hand to introduce and talk about the film.

$15 registration—no charge for members of the CLPM

Membership

The $50 annual contributing membership assists the new CLPM in sponsoring events, inviting speakers and hosting pre-law students. We intend to sponsor three CLPM events each year, provide a directory of CLPM members (to contributors), send regular updates on Calvin's pre-law program and get input on CLPM plans for supporting Calvin's pre-law program.
