Sunday, April 30 and Monday, May 1, the Bach Chorale of Grand Rapids presents two concerts, celebrating 20 years Bach Chorale of Grand Rapids and 500 years Reformation.
Program:
Sunday, Apr 30, 7:30 pm: Bach Cantata BWV 80, “Ein feste Burg is unser Gott,” and the Concerto for Piano in D Minor, BWV 1052.
Monday, May 1, 7:30 pm: choral and instrumental music by Johannes Brahms and others.
Guest soloist for both concerts is the German-Russian pianist Roman Salyutov. Special guest soloist for the Sunday concert is acclaimed organist Isabelle Demers.
Both concerts are at Central Reformed Church, 10 College Ave., NE. at 7:30 p.m.
