Celebration Concert for Professor Bert Polman

Prof. Bert Polman served as professor of music and chair of the music department at Calvin College from 2005 until his passing on July 1, 2013. A noted musicologist and hymnologist, he wrote and edited numerous hymn texts and harmonizations throughout his 36-year career. He was a much-loved mentor to many students of music and worship and his faithful stewardship, gentle humor, and overwhelming kindness where felt by all whom he came in contact. The Calvin College Capella and Campus Choir will lead the Celebration Concert on April 5.
