What can—and should—Christians seek to learn the truth about in the 2016 election?
Faithful Fact Checking
Two Calvin alumni who are actively working in the national media will share perspectives on the "Fact Checker" phenomena and the role that The Washington Post and ABC News have played. As active participants (from a media standpoint) in the election process, they will speak to responsible engagement in politics and Christian citizenship. The amount of information and disinformation that accompanies a regular election cycle, let alone a hotly contested presidential election, is frequently overwhelming. What can--and should--Christians seek to learn the truth about, while acknowledging that it isn't possible for everyone to become a multi-policy expert?
Featuring
John Muyskens (The Washington Post) and Ryan Struyk (ABC News)
