The 8th Annual High School Honor Band Festival brings together some of the most talented high school instrumentalists in Michigan with 2013 guest conductor, Robert D. Jorgensen, for a day of clinics, masterclasses and rehearsal. The culmination of the festival is the evening performance. Join the High School Honor Band Festival for their evening performance on October 29, 9pm in the CFAC Auditorium. The performance will feature Manatee Lyric Overture (1985) by Robert Sheldon, Aria di Chiesa “Pieta Signore” by Alessandro Stradella, Queen City March (1927)by William Halson Boorn among others. The Calvin Wind Ensemble will also perform under the direction of Tiffany Engle.
