A guided walk through the Ecosystem Preserve
This event is full, but you are still able to walk the trails on your own. The trails are open to visitors from 7 a.m. to dusk each day. Visit the Ecosystem Preserve website for updated trail information due to the construction project at the main entrance.

This special Family Weekend session gives participants the opportunity to learn about recent updates and ongoing research projects at Calvin's Ecosystem Preserve. Highlights of this tour, led by program manager Jeanette Henderson:
- Get a sneak peek of the new native plant demonstration gardens, opening spring 2019
- Walk the Pine Grove Trail loop, added in summer 2017
- Step behind the "for research only" gate and learn about current research being conducted by Calvin faculty and students
Location: Due to construction, meet at the gatehouse next to the Lot 13 parking sign (south end of Lot 13). Participants must be able to walk on woodchip paths and uneven terrain. (In the case of inclement weather, there will be a briefer presentation inside the Bunker Interpretive Center.)
