Middle East Club Lecture: Dr. Gilbert

Lecture by Dr. Mads Gilbert

Healing Children of Conflict presents Norwegian physician Dr. Mads Gilbert, author of Eye in Gaza and Night in Gaza, which describe his work with Palestinian colleagues to save victims of the death-dealing bombs raining down on the crowded neighborhoods of Gaza during Israel's 2008-2009 and 2014 invasions that took the lives of hundreds of children.

Healing Children of Conflict is a volunteer-led nonprofit based in Grand Rapids that heals families and communities by facilitating medical treatment for children seriously wounded in conflicts involving the U.S., and thereby educates others about the root causes of those conflicts to prevent their recurrence.
