This year marks the Oratorio Society’s 93rd presentation of George Frideric Handel's famous work. The ensemble will be under the direction of Joel Navarro. Dr. Joel Navarro is associate professor of music at Calvin College. Prior to his appointment at Calvin, he was assistant professor and chair of the choral conducting department at the University of the Philippines College of Music for sixteen years. This year marks his sixth year as music director of the Calvin Oratorio Society.
