Urban Doxology is a band that writes the soundtrack of reconciliation in the racially diverse and gentrifying neighborhood of Church Hill, Richmond, Virginia.
They are an active part of East End Fellowship, a community that endeavors to be a faithful presence seeking God’s joy and justice for their neighborhood out of love for Christ. Urban Doxology’s music and liturgy is community development for the soul, creating shared experiences of embodied reconciliation.
Hear their music at http://arrabon.com/album-urban-doxology/ and listen to their Vesper service from the Calvin Symposium on Worship.
The concert is free and open to the public (no ticket required).
Co-sponsored by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Campus Ministries and the Student Activity Office of Calvin College.
