White supremacy is a structural reality that permeates every aspect of US society. This talk will go beyond traditional ways of thinking about white supremacy in terms of violent speech and actions to consider how a curriculum of whiteness can act pedagogically in Christian school spaces. We will use the theory of public pedagogy to examine how the organization of space and the selection and placement of artifacts in Christian school buildings can both subtly and explicitly uphold white supremacy and consider ways in which our white supremacist structures might be problematized and dismantled.
