The Calvin Community Symphony is excited to be performing another wonderful concert of live classical music for the West Michigan community. This free concert will span eras from classical to modern. Featuring William Grant Still’s Symphony 1, Grieg’s Peer Gynt, the finale of Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony, and soloist Forrest Wakeman on Mozart’s Piano Concerto 21, there's something for everyone.
The Calvin Community Symphony exists to nurture a lifelong love of music in the West Michigan community. CCS concerts are general admission and free to attend. There will be an opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to support the symphony. Your patronage is greatly appreciated by the musicians and all who enjoy the music.
