This community works together to improve the world through art. Open to all majors and artists.
The Artist Collaborative is a two-year program open to incoming students who possess a holistic appreciation for and involvement in the arts (visual, performing, and written). The program fosters a collaborative approach to art making and creative problem-solving. Through courses, activities, and an interim trip to an arts destination in the U.S. or abroad, you will explore your calling as a creative in the twenty-first century.
Travel
If you arrive at Gerald R. Ford Airport, taxi and other on-demand ride services are available; Calvin’s campus is a 15-minute drive away.
If you live more than 150 miles from campus, Calvin will reimburse up to $250 of your travel costs. Submit your travel receipts at the program; Calvin will mail a reimbursement check shortly thereafter. If you enroll at Calvin in the fall, contact Admissions for a reimbursement of the student’s remaining travel costs.
