Run your way through a half-dozen donuts and the only net-positive calorie exercise you'll want to try.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: We'll still run unless there's lighting. A wet donut might go down easier, anyway!
PARKING: Because parking lot 7 will be closed for safety reasons, please find parking in lots 1-6 and walk to the Donut Dash, soccer field for the tailgate, soccer game, and fireworks. "The Incredibles 2" will be shown in the Covenant Fine Arts Center.
Try a new twist on a traditional run this Homecoming - try your hand (and feet, and stomach strength) at the Donut Dash!
This 1.5-mile dash starts on the Outdoor Track and loops its way through dorm road, past the Physical Plant and KHvR parking lot, and around the soccer field before finishing behind the soccer bleachers. But there's a twist - you'll start with a donut and end with a donut, and eat four more donuts at various points along the way.
Sure, you could think of this as a net-positive calorie activity, or you could think of it as a more active appetizer before the tailgate-style dinner that starts at 5:30 on Saturday.
For the ticket price of $5, you get the half-dozen donuts, a Donut Dash t-shirt, and the pride of accomplishing a grotesque feat in both consumption and exercise.
