About our event
Join us for the third annual Heritage Class lecture. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Robert Swierenga ’57, research professor, A.C. Van Raalte Institute at Hope College, and professor of history emeritus, Kent State University. His lecture is, "Retrospective at 80: A Scholar’s Life and Calvin’s Influence."

Dr. Swierenga will share stories about his career in historical scholarship. The lessons he has learned along the way—about Calvin College, Calvin alumni and the wider communion of the saints—promise to enrich our understanding of Dutch-American history in the United States.
