Justin Lee discusses how LGBT and Christian communities can effectively engage in dialogue that promotes grace and mutual understanding in the Spirit of Christ. Using his personal experience as a backdrop, Justin intelligently engages some of the toughest issues of the “gays-vs.-Christian” debate. With humor and grace, he gives practical suggestions for navigating current disagreements without sacrificing the integrity of our beliefs.
Justin Lee is Executive Director of The Gay Christian Network, which he founded in 2001 as a place for Christ-centered support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and those who care about them. Justin speaks across the country, and has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Dr. Phil, Anderson Cooper 360, NPR’s All Things Considered, and a front page article in The New York Times. His speaking and writing is characterized by a desire to focus on Christ in all things. Justin is the author of “Torn: Rescuing the Gospel from the Gays-vs.-Christians Debate” and the director of the documentary film “Through My Eyes.”
