Calvin students from departments across campus present their sustainability-related research at an event featuring posters, snacks, and a keynote speech from the community.
The Sustainability Showcase is a presentation and poster fair that happens at the end of each semester. This year's event features a keynote address from Dan Tietema (Organicycle Composting) on composting as a solution to waste production and landfill overcrowding. Afterwards, students from the French, Engineering, Biology, and Geology/Geography/Environment departments present on the sustainability research they've done this semester! Stop by to see informational posters on the great work they've been doing to better understand creation and what we can do to protect it.
Keynote begins at 4:00; student presentations start at 5 and run until 6.
