Biography
After college (Dallas Baptist University), I spent a year studying theology (Regent CoIlege, Vacouver) before going on to earn an M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. My husband, two young girls, and I are enjoying settling into life in Grand Rapids after living in Europe for 8 years. Calvin is a wonderful place to explore my varied interests alongside engaged students and faculty. When I am not teaching, I enjoy gathering (mostly) local foods, cooking them into tasty dishes, sewing with and for my daughters, running and reading.
