Sara Vander Bie

Biography

Sara received her BA in English from Calvin, as well as a MA– TESOL from Grand Valley State University. Sara has worked in higher education in a variety of capacities, including ministry and tutoring. More recently, she has worked in sheltered English programs at Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University. Sara is currently an ESL Instructor in the Center for Student Success, as well as an Academic Counselor. In the future, Sara looks forward to supporting students as they navigate both the practical and personal aspects of improving their English ability. In her spare time, Sara enjoys gardening with her children and writing when she has the chance.
