A federally regulated process to verify accurate information is provided on the FAFSA.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Education selects financial aid applications (FAFSA's) for a review process called verification. If your FAFSA is selected for verification Calvin's Financial Aid Office will send you a request for additional information. You should respond to this request as quickly as you are able. The Financial Aid Office will compare information from your FAFSA with actual IRS data for yourself and your parent(s). The law requires us to complete this process before finalizing your aid. If corrections to your FAFSA are required, we will electronically update your FAFSA with the correct information.
