The Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA or just CRC) is a bi-national body of believers with over 1,000 congregations and over 230,000 participating believers in the United States and Canada. The church’s headquarters are found in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the denomination has an unusually influential array of agencies and institutions. More information is available at crcna.org.
The CRCNA Congregant Survey for 2017 to 2020 (publicly labeled the “Our Journey 2020 survey,” reflecting the denomination's strategic plan) sought data from individuals at randomly-selected Christian Reformed churches during the late winter and spring of each year over four years. The survey’s stated purpose was “To help leaders at all levels of the CRC to understand trends and patterns in the composition of the church and the beliefs and practices of the people.”
