Calvin professor of philosophy Kelly Clark recently received nearly $200,000 to fund a project on religious liberty and tolerance.
The project, supported by the John Templeton Foundation, will fund the following: a book on religious liberty and tolerance—including translations of the book into Indonesian, Turkish, Hebrew and Arabic—a conference at Georgetown University during the tenth anniversary of 9/11, and planning for conventions on liberty and tolerance in Indonesia, Turkey and Israel.
Clark will work on the project with staff from the Nagel Institute for the Study of World Christianity.
