Immerse yourself in Mexican culture and the Spanish language while living with Mexican host families.
During this course, students spend a few weeks immersed in Mexican culture and the Spanish language while living with Mexican host families. Students attend lectures and participate in class discussions focusing on various aspects of Mexican culture and history, the history of Catholicism and Protestantism in Mexico, the national health and education systems, and the current political and economic context. Students also participate in excursions to archeological sites, places of cultural significance, and attend a variety of events of religious and cultural nature.
