Food Recovery Network (FRN)

Basic information

The Food Recovery Network exists to feed the hungry and promote sustainability. Our volunteers recover from the dining halls leftover food that would otherwise be thrown out and bring them to local nonprofits who will serve those in need in the Grand Rapids community.

We host recoveries nearly every weekday after lunch or dinner, so you can sign up according to your personal schedule. With your help, FRN recovers over 1,000 lbs of food every month to fight waste and feed people.

We send out sign-up sheets every week. Hit us up if you want to get involved!
