Adjunct Instructor in Japanese: Department of Germanic and Asian Languages
The Department of Germanic and Asian Languages at Calvin University invites applications for part-time instruction in the area of Japanese language. Teaching appointments are currently available for fall semester, beginning September 1, 2020 and for spring semester, beginning February 1, 2021.
Requirements
Education and Experience
A master’s degree or above in Japanese or in Japanese language education is preferred, although applicants with five or more years of experience teaching Japanese will also be considered. All applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods and instructional technology as required.

Each applicant should submit with the online application, a CV detailing teaching experience, and a letter addressing interest in teaching at a Christian university. Additional information, including official academic transcripts will be requested of all candidates progressing to the interview process.
