Calvin University is pleased to host the 2024 Michigan Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (MUPRC) on April 6, 2024 at the School of Business.
The conference provides a unique opportunity for psychology students to present original research. Student-focused conferences such as MUPRC can be an extremely valuable experience, giving students an audience for their ideas, a way to focus their study results and an opportunity to rehearse public presentations.

Keynote
Dr. Christina Vanden Bosch der Nederlanden, Director of LAMA lab at the University of Toronto
We are very pleased to have Dr. Christina Vanden Bosch der Nederlanden as our keynote speaker. Christina earned her B.A in Psychology and Music at Calvin College and developed her research skills at Calvin's Center for Social Research (now called DataWise Consulting). She earned her Masters and PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and gained neuroscience training at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. She currently is the director of the LAMA lab at the University of Toronto, where she and her team research the neural and cognitive processing of music and language development in infants, children, and adults.
Schedule
Registration for the conference will begin at 8:45AM with presentations, a poster session, plenary speaker and lunch to follow. The conference will conclude by 2:00PM.
Registration and submission guidelines
One representative from each institution needs to register all who will be attending from that institution. Registration is due by 5:00 pm on March 16, 2024.
Each presenter needs to fill out an abstract form. Abstracts due by 5:00 pm on March 23, 2024.
Cost and location
Cost is $25/person and must be paid by check to Calvin University by March 23. Mail a check to:
